reverse tie dye!

Refresh faded cotton clothes into fun new designs using reverse tie dyeing techniques!

In reverse tie dye, you start with a colored fabric and remove color. You can then wash your garment for a two tone result (the original color + the underlying color revealed after removal) or you can add other colors back in! In this workshop, we’ll be experimenting with different fabrics and removal patterns. [We won’t be adding any new colors, because that requires a whole other session!]

In this workshop, you will

• receive practice swatches to
• try out different patterns with David’s expert guidance,
• learn about bleaching (bad for fabric) versus discharging,
• choose a final project to reverse dye,
• experiment and play in a small environment with one-on-one support as needed, and
• leave with your practices and final project, and the knowledge to continue your reverse dyeing journey!
