DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nIn this workshop, Becky will introduce basic watercolor techniques, tools, and materials, focusing on simple shapes and combining them to create greater compositions. Total beginners welcome! And if you’re not a beginner but want to review the basics, you’re welcome too! Everyone’s welcome!\nWe will discuss the art of simplicity and how less can sometimes communicate more in watercolor. We’ll try basic watercolor techniques including wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry, and practice how to hold and control the brush for different strokes. We will paint simple shapes using everything we’ve learned, to gain a deeper understanding of watercolor, and then put everything we’ve learned together for your final piece.\n\nIn this class, you will\n\n\nlearn about the fundamentals of watercolor,\npractice techniques including wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting,\nplay with a broad range of colors!, and\nlearn and paint in an intimate class environment with one-on-one support as needed.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
